Who we are:
Portsmouth Baptist worships and serves God as a community built on Faith, Family, and Friends who strive to help one another in this lifelong journey, along with helping as many people as possible experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
Where we come from:
Portsmouth Baptist was founded in 1958 by Reverend Quinten King as a fundamental, independent Baptist Church. His purpose was to worship and serve God as a family, assisting each other in their faith journey. We moved to our current location on the corner of Rosemount Road and Old Scioto Trail in 1966.
Where we're headed:
Portsmouth Baptist is committed to fostering a supportive and loving church family built around Jesus Christ. We continue to explore more ways to fulfill our mission of spreading The Good News of Jesus while teaching people how to live productive Christ-centered lives now and for future generations.
