The Women's Ministry at Portsmouth Baptist Church provides women opportunities to lift one another, pray together, and grow in godliness as they engage with God through His Word.
The PBC Women's Ministry group serves a vital role in the Church and coordinates Vacation Bible School, monthly Church dinners, Mother's Day activities, and many other events throughout the year. The ladies serve the Church in many capacities and are essential to the body of Christ.
Monthly meetings provide a safe environment for ladies to serve, share, and build relationships with each other. Ladies voluntarily sign up to serve refreshments, share a devotional, or prepare a structured group activity. The meetings are usually scheduled on Monday events, so our working ladies can attend. This time is treasured among the ladies, and they strive together to draw closer to God as they get closer to one another.
The Women's Ministry participates in many fun activities, and each lady may opt-in to partake in the Secret Sister giving, Women's retreats, Mother's Day Banquet, Christmas Dinner, Community Outreach, and so many more events throughout the year. There is always something to do, and the ladies are always eager for more to join in on the fun.
Just to let you know, signing up to participate in the Women's Ministry isn't necessary. Every lady is gratefully accepted and celebrated, so show up!
